At TPF, protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and community is a top priority. As we all know, performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can make the difference between life and death during a cardiac arrest. To equip our team with these critical skills, we recently organized training sessions for our employees in Brussels. Led by a certified instructor, participants learned vital life-saving techniques, including how to alert emergency services, position someone in recovery, perform CPR, and effectively use an AED. This training was more than educational—it was empowering. Our employees now feel more prepared and confident to respond in emergency situations. Thanks to everyone for your active participation. Together, we’re building a safer world. #ESG #HealthAndSafety #WorkplaceSafety #EmployeeWellBeing #CPRTraining #AED #LifeSavingSkills #EmpoweredEmployees #BuildingASaferWorld

At TPF, we bring extensive experience in geotechnical consulting and laboratory testing for projects of all scales. Our geotechnical engineers have a crucial role to play in the success and stability of construction projects. In India, Tata Steel entrusted our team at Cetest, to support the expansion of its Kalinganagar plant in Odisha. Phase II, recently completed, increased the plant’s capacity from 3 MTPA to 8 MTPA, making Odisha Tata Steel’s largest investment destination with over Rs100,000 crore invested in the last 10 years. Phase III aims to further double the capacity to 16 MTPA, contributing to Tata Steel’s goal of 40 MTPA by 2030. For Phase III, our Indian team in Kolkata conducted a detailed geotechnical investigation to assess the underlying soil and rock conditions essential for designing robust foundations. The investigation included a series of in-depth geotechnical tests such as Borehole Drilling, Static and Cyclic Plate Load Tests, Block Vibration Tests, Electrical Resistivity Tests etc. A rock zonation map was developed to determine bearing capacities and recommend optimal foundation systems, including pile capacities for each zone. These results will guide the design process and ensure that the foundation system is both safe and cost-effective, aligned with Tata Steel’s ambitious long-term growth plans in the region. #Laboratorytesting #TataSteel #KalinganagarExpansion #GeotechnicalEngineering #FoundationDesign #Cetest #EngineeringExcellence #SoilTesting

🌍 At TPF Türkiye, we’ve embarked on a journey to merge creativity with sustainability through an initiative we proudly call "Trash to Treasure." Turning Trash into Treasure at TPF! 🌱 In our first event under this name, we transformed office waste—recyclable materials, in particular—into something extraordinary: the TPF logo itself, crafted entirely from what would have otherwise been discarded. By transforming waste into art, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and inspire others to rethink how they perceive waste. We believe that sustainability isn't just a goal; it’s a mindset—and through small actions like this, we can achieve meaningful change. 🌟 Let’s continue to lead by example, turning challenges into opportunities and trash into treasure. 💚

I am always interested in how our customers and partners approach the problem of complexity. And they work on ever larger projects to build the homes and infrastructure we all need. There is something interesting to learn in how TPF Engenharia is managing the complexity of building critical infrastructure in Brazil. It was tremendously hard for project stakeholders to keep track of quality issues and their impact on cost and schedule with information scattered across design and enterprise tools. TPF took an approach that visually brings together models, cost, quality, and schedule information with its Plug 3D Viewer. By connecting this data visually, they made it accessible for all stakeholders to easily elevate and track issues and understand their impact. This democratizes the information, improves collaboration, and reduces project risk. Check out TPF Engenharia’s story: https://lnkd.in/gK8y5EFi #construction #infrastructure

Today, December 5th, marks World Soil Day, a special occasion to remind ourselves of the importance of protecting and making the planet more sustainable and liveable. As a responsible company, TPF supports projects that contribute to healthy soil and promote sustainable management of soil resources. In Senegal, for example, we are particularly concerned about the problem of coastal erosion, which unfortunately intensifies with global warming. TPF Senegal (www.tpf.sn) possesses unique expertise in currents, hydrology, hydraulics, and sedimentary dynamics, which few others have in Senegal, making us well-equipped to address these challenges. On this World Soil Day, we would like to highlight the WACA- West Africa Coastal Areas Management program. This initiative aims to stabilize the eastern and western ledges of the Dakar region and protecting the Goree Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site, from erosion. The preliminary design study and detailed preliminary design study we conducted as part of a consortium focused on protecting the beach areas of Cheikh Anta Diop University and Anse Bernard. This included the construction of coastal structures such as groynes, breakwaters, rockfill barriers, and a ring dike. #WorldSoilDay #HealthySoils #SoilBiodiversity #SoilConservation #CoastalErosion #WACAProject #CoastalResilience #SustainableDevelopment #ClimateAction #ClimateChange #UNESCOWorldHeritagelist #TPF

Supporting artistic and cultural initiatives is not just part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy—it’s a testament to our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Target 11.4, which underscores the importance of protecting and preserving cultural and natural heritage. Art and culture go beyond aesthetics; they enhance territorial attractiveness, inspire creativity, foster communication, and unite people from diverse backgrounds. One of our most recent cultural collaborations is the Nauti-poulpe exhibition in Brussels, an exceptional project realized in partnership with the City of Amiens, the City of Brussels, Galerie Champaka, and Interparking. This monumental bronze sculpture, a tribute to Jules Verne, is the creation of Belgian comic artist François Schuiten and French sculptor Pierre Matter. The sculpture, inaugurated on Friday, November 29, will be showcased in Brussels until February 2025, before its permanent installation in Amiens, France. It was produced by the Fonderies de Saint-Sauveur under the artistic direction of Pierre Matter. TPF has a long-standing history with comic art and particularly with François Schuiten. To commemorate TPF’s 30th anniversary in 2021, a special edition of Travel Book Mars by François Schuiten and Sylvain Tesson was published in 5,000 copies and gifted to our employees and clients. The values expressed in this book perfectly align with those of TPF. More recently, in 2022, TPF provided financial support for the creation of the Ukrainian edition of Brüsel, a graphic novel by François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters. This initiative was part of TPF’s solidarity efforts with Ukraine, reflecting a conflict that deeply resonates with us. This prestigious program of the Royal Academy of Engineering in Spain (RAI) aims to promote female talent in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics sectors (STEM). At TPF, we are convinced that Mentoring has become essential to tackle the under-representation of women in these sectors. In the last edition of the program, two of our colleagues, ANA ISABEL PERAL RUANO, Director of the Territorial Area and Quality Control, and Angel Marquez, Director of the Transport Infrastructures Division at TPF INGENIERÍA participated as mentors. They had the privilege of guiding two talented women, supporting their transition from university to the professional world. This experience was not only enriching for the mentees but also for our mentors. As mentors, we offered personalized mentoring, sharing our knowledge and expertise to support mentees' career development, facilitate skill acquisition and informed decision-making. Additionally, we encouraged our mentees to seize every networking opportunity and linked them to new connections in the industrial world. Thanks to the support of universities and sponsors, we also ensured that mentees had access to free training, breaking down financial barriers. The fundamental objective of the program was to provide our mentees with a clear and practical understanding of the skills and abilities that the job market demands today, as well as the opportunity to become aware of their innate talents and capabilities, discovering how to leverage them in their future professional careers. In male-dominated sectors, expanding networks is essential for career growth and professional growth. A big thank to the Royal Academy of Engineering for giving us the opportunity to support female talent and for creating a meeting point between the corporate world and the new generations of the best university talent. #TPFIngenieria #WomeninSTEM #Mentoring #FemaleTalent #CareerDevelopment #RAI #Mentoring #ExcellenceProgram
