🏎️ Stay Connected, Anytime, Anywhere! We’re thrilled to implement the Mobility 42G antenna paired with the Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G router in our vehicle. This setup enables real-time monitoring of the car, whether it’s tracking crucial data like temperatures or observing the vehicle during autonomous driving. Plus, with Cellular connectivity by Frontier EU from the router, we can stay connected to the internet from anywhere, allowing for essential tasks like live coding. What makes Peplink special for us? The reliability! Our previous Peplink router ensured stable connections, drastically improving our efficiency. Reflecting on a rewarding week in Germany at the Formula Student Germany competition! 🇩🇪 After traveling from the Czech Republic, our team successfully passed all scrutineering tests for manual driving and got our car on the track. Although we faced time constraints that prevented us from completing the driverless inspections, we are proud of our achievements in the static events: P6 out of 79 in Business Plan, P21 in Cost & Manufacturing, and P23 in Engineering & Design. 🚀 FS TECHTALK GEARBOX 🚀 After a successful competition season, we’re thrilled to dive into the tech behind our fourth-generation gearbox! 🔧 ⚙️ Matthijs Van Duyse, Cyran Degryse, and Tobin Steppe will walk you through their improvements compared to last year, innovative design techniques, and the detailed testing phase at Tremec. We also want to extend our gratitude to Mestdagh | Fine mechanical supplier for providing us with the presize customised parts and TREMEC Belgium for their expertise in custom gearbox designs. 🚀  Reflecting on an Unforgettable Week at Formula Student Czech Republic ! Last week has been an incredible week in the history of UGent Racing. Our team reached new milestones and brought home some impressive achievements. Here’s a quick recap: 🏎  A Historic First: For the first time in our team’s history, we successfully completed all manual scrutineering sessions, meaning Orion could spend time on track during the dynamic events. ⚡ Dynamic Events Success: We succesfully completed the Acceleration and Autocross events, marking the first time ever a UGent Racing car drove on track! 🏆 Podium Finish: We’re proud to share that we secured 2nd place in the Cost & Manufacturing event, helping us gain an overall 5th place finish in the static events!!! This is an enormous achievement for us and we’re eager to continue building on this progress in the years ahead!
