From 22 November to 1 December 2024, Our CEO was part of the Belgian Economic Mission to Brazil in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The core of this mission led by Belgian Princess Astrid aimed to strengthen and deepen trade relations between Belgium and Brazil. Prinses Astrid. Het seminarie bracht bedrijven, politici en experts samen om uitdagingen rond EU-regelgeving, zoals de Europese Ontbossingsverordening (#EUDR) en de Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (#CS3D), te bespreken. 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐧: 🔸Bewustzijn creëren over EU-regels 🔸Best practices delen. 🔸Samenwerkingen versterken met Braziliaanse bedrijven Met inzichtelijke bijdragen van Ken Joris (Manuport Logistics (MPL)), Koen Quaghebeur (Globachem), Gisele ObaraT (Trias NGO - Global), Renato Rosenberg (Serviço Florestal Brasileiro), en Thomas Brusselle (Vogel Import Export, Fedustria). Deze inspirerende dag werd afgesloten in aanwezigheid van H.K.H. Prinses Astrid en Minister-President Matthias Diependaele. Fedustria, UNIZO, en Voka-Vlaams netwerk van ondernemingen en Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) blijven zich onvoorwaardelijk inzetten voor duurzame internationale handel en samenwerking. Deze missie geeft Belgische bedrijven een platform om lokale inzichten te verkrijgen en waardevolle samenwerkingen op te zetten.
