Your future role

We are looking for an accountant to strengthen our team!

You will support the team in day-to-day operational accounting and actively contribute to our joint successes.

This is a unique opportunity to get to know all the Accounting-related matters and grow as an all-round Accountant, while providing diversity in your day-to-day job.

If you are a hands-on team player who is driven, eager to learn and ambitious, with a broad interest in acquiring knowledge and looking beyond the figures, you might be the person we are looking for.

In this role, you will be assigned the following tasks:

• You will perform day-to-day accounting tasks (AP, bank statements etc.).
• You will assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• You will correctly, completely, and timely provide and manage financial data. This includes general ledger, debtors, creditors, etc.
• You will assist in financial reporting in accordance with IFRS standards.
• You will carry out actuals – budget variance analysis.
• You will conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• You will prepare VAT and other tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• You will handle the preparation of Corporate Tax declaration.
• You will manage cash-flow reporting & forecasting.
• You will carry out the preparation of annual accounts & annual report for the Works Council.
• You will support both internal and external audits and contribute to the preparation and execution of audit findings.
• You will provide support for ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as needed.
• You will contribute to the improvement and creation of processes.

The profile we are looking for:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Taxation.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar function.

• You have relevant knowledge of Belgium tax and legal regulations.
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
• You have advanced skills in Excel.
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics is a plus.

• You are fluent in Dutch/French and English.
• You are solution-oriented and proactive.
• You have good analytical skills and a hands-on approach.
• You are able to work autonomously.
• You manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.
• You have good communication skills.
