We are growing fast, and therefore want to expand our finance team.

Nobi is looking for a full-time AY Accountant.

You will play a big role in managing the financial bookkeeping of three entities (Nobi NV, Nobi USA Inc and Nobi Smart Lamps Limited). You will ensure that the daily accounting runs accurately and effectively.

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

• Invoice management: process incoming invoices, verify accuracy of billing data, and update records with new invoices and expenses. Ensure timely payment of all vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable ledger.
• Payments: upload payment files and ad hoc payments to the bank software and follow up on approval of these payments.
• Bookkeeping: maintain detailed and accurate records of all financial transactions. This includes bookkeeping for purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Account reconciliation: perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile credit card statements to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the financial system.
• Tax filing assistance: prepare and assist with the filing of tax forms, such as VAT returns, service tax returns, and other statutory filings.
• Audit preparation: support audit activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Assist in preparing monthly reporting and ad hoc analyses.
• Inventory management
• Align with other departments as financial business partner.

You for Nobi

• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
• You can present at least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international context.
• You have a good knowledge of general accounting principles, VAT legislation, and tax law.
• You are analytical and precise.
• You enjoy working with Excel and common software packages and digital tools.
• Experience with Odoo is a plus but not a requirement.
• You are flexible and can handle change.
• You are a real team player who thinks along with the company. You are a "self-starter" and you enjoy completing your own projects independently.
• You express yourself fluently and clearly, both orally and in writing, in English and in Dutch.
