We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations within our organization.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including management, auditors, and vendors, to ensure smooth financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasting expenses, and analyzing variances.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, manage VAT/GST reporting, and liaise with tax authorities.
Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Manage payroll operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and timely payment of salaries.
Use accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and maintain efficiency.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain financial controls and compliance.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred).Proven experience in accounting or financial management (2+ years preferred).
