What do you do all day?

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with several analytical teams to implement a new scientific data capture and processing tool (Capture Data Workflow, CDW). You will work within the operations, interfacing also with IT developers. CDW is an electronic laboratory notebook under development based on Agile approach, requiring flexible thinking to integrate new ways of working in the context of digitalization (data analytics).

It’s a hybrid job that will allow you to combine work at home and on the customer site. You'll interact with a wide range of stakeholders from different department from a global biopharmaceutical company. You will work both in GxP and non-GxP environment and, you will need to interact with Belgium-, US- & Italy-based teams as well.

You are an integral part of Akkodis platform from which you can benefit from daily support.

Your responsibilities:

As Business Analyst, you’ll be able to carry out a wide range of interactions with multiple analytical platforms to implement a new digital tool enabling scientific data capture and processing:

o Support digital template generation considering platforms technology specificities, to reach adequate data structuration.

o Capture new features to be developed in the tool to meet business needs (Agile mode). Communication/interaction between users and developers.

o Ensure the tool roll-out according to project milestones through regular & formalized interactions with key users in the platforms, and appropriate monitoring indicators.

o Execution of test in validation environment to ensure the new features work accordingly to expectations.

o Creation of training material and documents (user guide), as well as deliver training session.

o Maintain continuous scientific awareness to get deep understanding of CDW functioning.

o Inventory of the existing paper-based/electronic protocols to translate in CDW tool.

o Support to the teams in the creation of templates generating structured data and responding to data-integrity principles in place. A close follow-up through recurrent meeting with identified points of contact in the teams is expected, together with appropriate monitoring (KPI).

o Support the different platforms to revise their documentation management according to the new way of working linked with CDW implementation.

o Centralize information on one or more projects to provide visibility on its progress (implementation Dashboard, Timeline, resource needs, etc.).

o Coordination of several projects simultaneously.

o Demonstrate problem solving capabilities to resolve situation promptly and efficiently to ensure on time delivery and to maintain high level of customer satisfaction.

Your profile:

o You have a scientific and/or IT background, including scientific data structuration and processing.

o You are fluent in French and English.

o You are ease with digital interfaces/tools.

o You have good awareness of/interest in analytical/scientific technologies.

o You have good organizational skills and can plan and prioritize your activities.

o You enjoy meeting and speaking with people, presenting your results, and advising costumers.

o You are proactive, dynamic, solution-oriented, open-minded, and flexible.

o Which can be seen as a plus:

• Knowledge in the use of Azure, AHA!, SAP tools and CDW software.

• Knowledge in reporting/data management tools (as Power Bi, Denodo, Spotfire, etc.)

• Good basis in Microsoft® Office software used.

• Knowledges pharmaceutical industry, especially lab environment.

• Knowledge & experience with ALCOA-CCEA principles & data-integrity
