Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst for one of the leading banks in Belgium.

Your Role as a Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in the Testudo Squad, you will:

• Maintain and improve data models to meet business requirements.
• Analyze and profile data to support users and enhance database functionality.
• Define and document data transformation rules to align with technical needs.
• Collaborate with developers, ensure proper implementation, and test solutions.
• Monitor data quality and provide second/third-line support to end-users.
• Support risk reporting, credit monitoring, and regulatory requirements.

Profile

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in IT, Mathematics, or Economics).
• Languages:
• Fluent in English (writing, speaking, and comprehension).
• Good level of Dutch or French (speaking and comprehension).
• Experience:
• At least 2 years in business analysis or functional analysis.
• Experience in SQL and working with Agile squads.
• Previous work in large-scale IT development or data-centric projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Oracle, Sybase IQ, or Informatica ETL is a plus.
• Basic programming knowledge and familiarity with Linux environments.
• Soft Skills:
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communicator with good teamwork and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing deadlines.
