Business Controller

For one of our client in the energy sector, we are looking for a Business Controller Freelance in Brussels :

🔍 Your Role :

• Oversee and manage the company's financial health through cost, pricing, and sales analysis.
• Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans in the energy market.
• Develop performance measures supporting the company's strategic direction in the energy sector.
• Provide analysis to aid management in decision-making.
• Understand and mitigate key risks unique to the energy industry.
• Provide biannual regulatory reporting, including deviation analysis and expense justification.
• Control specific cost areas, such as travel expenses and stakeholder event management.

💼 Your profile :

• Master Degree or equivalent by experience.
• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Controller, preferably within the energy sector.
• At least proficiency in one of the national languages (FR / NL), good knowledge of the other national language and English.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (SAP).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
