A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy.
You’ll focus on the financial performance of a line of service within PwC and will be the main point of contact. Additionally you will work closely with your colleagues and other internal functions to improve the reporting and other processes and occasionally you will work on other high challenging projects like mergers and acquisitions, new releases of the finance systems, ... We go for change and always keep improving the way we work and the support we give to the business.

Your impact
As a Business Controller, your role will include the following tasks:
- Provide feedback and report monthly figures to business partners in a line of service by drafting the monthly reporting, partner presentations and financial dashboards.
- Discuss and present financials in partner meetings.
- Be the sparring partner of the Finance and Managing Partner on all financial aspects.
- Cooperate with the Managing Partner in preparation of business plans, annual budgets and forecasts.
- Support and, if needed, challenge the partners/directors in all financial matters of their units, instruct them on targets, processes and timelines to be followed.
- Analyze cost and revenue components including performance KPI’s and metrics on a monthly basis.
- Identify and implement improvements to the financial management of a line of service. This will require your own initiative as the Business Controller and can affect a wide variety of projects (e.g. cost savings, IT related efficiencies, new KPI’s, new services, etc).
- Assistance and guidance to the Project Controller in all WIP related matters of a line of service.
- Assistance in creating PowerBI reports and other automation of reports
- Liaise with HR, IT, Marketing for all budget and financial aspects of a line of service.
- You will report directly to the Head of Controlling.
- A master's degree in Economics or equivalent.
- A minimum of 6-8 years of qualifying experience in a controlling, accounting or auditing function.
- Ambitious team player-mentality with a high level of motivation and a strong client oriented approach.
- A strong and positive leadership attitude combined with the ability to provide direction.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- A proactive and ‘can do’ mentality.
- Very good Microsoft skills (Excel), knowledge of SAP and PowerBI is an asset.
- Fluent language skills in Dutch, French and English.
