Business Controller

If you have 3-5 years of experience in business controlling - preferably in the staffing industry - and you’re eager to make an impact, this is your opportunity to thrive!

👜 What you’ll do:

As our Business controller, you’ll take the lead in driving performance improvements and financial insights across the organization. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day will look like:

• Strategic Financial Planning (FP&A): collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Your insights will drive smarter decision-making.
• Performance reporting: craft clear, data-driven reports for stakeholders, ensuring compliance and offering actionable updates.
• KPIs & growth metrics: dive into business metrics, identify trends, and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Profitability optimization: monitor costs, analyze profitability, and present ideas for sustainable growth.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, HR, Operations, and other teams to align financial goals with business strategies.
• Governance & compliance: ensure we meet high standards of corporate governance, accounting, and tax regulations.
• Ad-Hoc projects: bring fresh insights to strategic initiatives and exciting new ventures.

🏋️‍♂️ What you’ll bring:

• Experience: 3-5 years in business controlling, finance, or similar roles, ideally in staffing or service sectors.
• Financial savvy: expertise in financial reporting, modeling, cost management, and ERP systems. Familiarity with Power BI and Excel is a must.
• Analytical excellence: you love data, can spot trends, and translate numbers into actionable strategies.
• Communication skills: confidence in presenting complex financials to cross-functional teams.
• Education: bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Languages: fluency in English and either Dutch or French is a plus.
