About The Position ...
As Business Controller at Armonea you are part of a dynamic team within our Finance department. In this crucial role, you will support and advise various departments, including the functional departments of the head office, the Region Directors and the Directors of our residential care centers. You will assist them in making strategic and financial decisions that contribute to the growth and development of our organization. You report directly to the Business Controlling Manager and work primarily from our headquarters in Mechelen, but occasionally visit our residential care centers.

Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to the monthly closing of accounts for the group and for site and regional directors.
Analyze results and KPIs and participate in monthly business reviews. Based on your analyses, provide recommendations and follow up on action plans.
Prepare and monitor annual budgets, business plans and forecasts.
Contribute to the business plan and its implementation, focusing on both activity centers and specific cost components (revenue, personnel costs, sites costs, etc.).
Work in close consultation with finance and operations teams to achieve strong results and support Armonea's strategic goals.

Qualifications:
You have a Master's degree in an economics discipline (e.g. Finance, Business Economics, or similar).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role as a Business Controller or Financial Analyst.
Strong analytical skills and a talent for making complex financial data understandable to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience with financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
A proactive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact at both strategic and operational levels.
Very good team player
Dutch, French & English proficiency
