About Women on Board Belgium:
Women on Board is a unique network of women leaders that are active at board level. To our member community, we offer network and community events that center around topics that relate to Board matters and D&I matters, we also offer training possibilities focusing on ways to build a successful board career and last but not least we connect our members to companies looking for qualified women board members.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented self-starter with administrative and IT experience, and a keen interest in promoting gender diversity and inclusion to join us as a community and program manager . This freelance position requires a commitment of 2 days per week and focuses on supporting administrative functions, content creation, event management, and communication. This person would report to the CEO of Women on Board
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting, invoices, database management, member renewals, and simple website updates
- Manage event logistics and ensuring organisational efficiency
- Support the application process of new associate members and the organisation of the Admissions Committee
- Assist with web design, newsletter design, and content development
- Assist in creating and managing online resources, blogs, and newsletters
- Support marketing and promotional activities for education programs and events
- Support the planning and execution of online and physical events
- Help manage and grow our network of members and partners
- Help manage relationships with befriended organisations
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable with various IT programs and web-based tools (Mailchimp, Zoom,...)
- Self-starter with a learning mindset and passionate about advancing and promoting diversity and inclusion - women’s rights
- Good communication skills in English (FR/NL is a strong advantage)
- Experience in administrative roles and database management
- Interest in gender diversity, women’s rights, member networks
