Position

The primary responsibility of the HRBP is to support, advice and partner with the business in the areas such as recruitment, employee relations, learning & development.

The HRBP reports to the HR Director Benelux.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate full recruitment process
  • On/offboarding staff members; induction meetings
  • Advice employees on learning & development questions in coordination with HR
  • Identify coordinate, follow up and evaluate learning & development needs and initiatives for teams and individuals
  • Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • In consultation with HRD, assist & guide managers on personnel issues ; Long term sick leave, re-integration…
  • Assist the HRD in streamlining HR processes and procedures for efficiency purposes.
  • Assist HR Director on local HR initiatives
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
  • Provide HR policy guidance; train employees, managers and directors about relevant HR processes and policies
  • Together with the HRD, monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
  • Ensure implementation / application of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Work on ad hoc projects

Profile

  • Master HR or equivalent
  • Min 5+ years of relevant HR BP experience
  • Practical working knowledge of Benelux employment legislation
  • Fluent in French, Dutch & English (both written and verbal)
  • Proactive and fully committed to all aspects of HR work
  • Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization development, change management, and employee relations
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company
  • Proactive
  • Efficient, with capacity to manage tight deadlines and multi-tasking
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees, line managers and external contacts
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office
  • Trustworthy with high standard of ethics, integrity and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues
