International Business Development Manager - Hot Melts

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a proactive and experienced Technical & Business Development Manager to join our Sales Division, focusing primarily on our Hot Melts Business Unit.
  • Developing a Profitable Customer Base
  • Proactively identify development opportunities and position our organization against competitors.
  • Expand your customer base and network by actively approaching potential clients and networking at distributor visits and trade shows.
  • Managing Customer Portfolio
  • Maintain frequent contact with customers, acting as their primary point of contact to build and sustain strong, lasting relationships.
  • Preparing, Executing, and Following Up on the Sales Process
  • Negotiate prices, set sales agreements, and determine delivery times.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance with sales agreements.
  • Oversee sales activities.
  • Handling Complaints
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers with technical issues.
  • Provide advice and support to customers in collaboration with the Technical Service Specialist, Product Manager, and R&D Division to ensure complaints are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborating with the R&D Division
  • Explore new markets and product opportunities by responding to customer needs and requests.
  • Regularly consult with R&D to determine research directions and promote newly developed products.

Profile

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics or Languages, or equivalent through experience.
  • Socially oriented with strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commercial mindset.
  • Extensive experience in an assertive commercial international environment, preferably with international experience.
  • Proficient in Dutch, English, French, and German, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel.
