UNIBRA S.A. is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Financial/Business Controller to join our dynamic team.

Finance team 

The Junior Financial/Business Controller will be part of the Finance team, consisting of six members. 


Role 

The main role of the Junior Financial/Business Controller is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives through analysis of every day financial activities. He/she gives advice on current financial situation and future financial plans. The Junior Financial/Business Controller plays an important role in developing strategic and financial plans, including Long Term Planning, annual budgets, and quarterly updates. 

The Junior Financial/Business Controller works closely with the financial team to implement, upgrade, enhance tools, processes, guidelines and procedures to improve the quality of the financial service. He/she drives business operating mechanisms to monitor Key Performance Indicators and improve cash flow planning. 

The Junior Financial/Business Controller ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and internal controls in place. His/her role is to drives best practice in financial and administrative management within the organization to maximize efficiency and growth. 


Responsibilities 


Non exhaustive list of main duties: 

  • Assist in the preparation and management of the consolidated budget, forecast and long-term planning (3-5 years) in alignment with business objectives. 
  • Contribute to the preparation on timely manner of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and operational report. 
  • Report on cashflow position and projection 
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, practices and procedures. 
  • Play a proactive role in the continuous improvement and automation of reporting methods and data collection. 
  • Support the development and the improvement of the financial reporting by analysing and reporting operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget/forecast, and any other matters bearing on the operating effectiveness of the organization 
  • Provides financial analysis to evaluate company ventures for special projects (acquisition, capex, other…) when necessary. 
  • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies, reporting and procedures. 
  • Participate in the implementation and automation of financial tools to improve departmental efficiency. 


Profile 

  • You have a master degree in finance, business administration or related field. 
  • A first experience in controlling / audit is an asset but not required. 
  • You are fluent in French and English. 
  • You have a good understanding of general and management accounting, budgeting and financial analysis. 
  • You have an excellent knowledge of MS office tools especially of Excel. Knowledge of accounting or financial management software is a plus. 
  • Experience with financial tools implementation or system integration is highly valued. 
  • You have a business oriented mind-set and very strong analytical skills. 
  • You are critical minded and you have a logical way of reasoning. 
  • You are a real team player and have excellent communication skills. 
  • You are proactive and can work independently. 
  • You have the ability to suggest innovative ideas and drive continuous improvement.
