As a Junior GL Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
Manage the balance sheet and profit & loss accounts, including consolidation and reconciliation.
Support accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
Assist in preparing VAT/CIT declarations and statistical reporting for 10 EU countries.
Provide monthly reports and analyses for other departments.
Process accounts payable, review bank statements, and manage payments.
Help oversee vendor accounts and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Who are you?
International mindset, and you are able to work with change (flexible);
You are willing to grow and develop your skills;
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related;
Minimum 2 years of experience in a General Accounting role;
Knowledge of accounting principles such as Belgian GAAP;
Knowledge of taxation, VAT/CIT principles and non-deductible costs are considered an asset;
You are willing to learn and growth within the company on the long term.
Strong Excel knowledge;
Strong communication skills in English (Business Proficiency);
Experience with SAP is a plus.
