Position: Mid/Senior Functional Analyst
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office
Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium
Mandatory Languages: One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable
Role Overview
We are seeking an Mid/Senior Functional to leverage your expertise in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Unified Modeling Language (UML), and Use Cases to define and document business requirements, ensuring that projects meet both client and business needs.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications.
Develop and maintain BPMN diagrams to visualize and communicate business processes effectively.
Create and maintain UML models to support development teams in understanding system specifications.
Design, document, and review use cases for various applications to ensure comprehensive coverage of business needs.
Coordinate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
Facilitate testing phases by creating test cases and conducting thorough testing of applications against requirements.
Provide training and support to team members on best practices in Agile, BPMN, UML, and testing methodologies.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Proficient in BPMN for process modeling and documentation.
Strong understanding of UML for system design and specification.
Experience in creating and managing user stories across various projects.
Hands-on experience with software testing, including creating test plans and conducting user acceptance testing.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
