Position: Global People & Culture Manager


The Global People & Culture Manager is responsible for maximizing the collective potential of the People & Culture community to drive BDO's purpose and provide maximum benefits to member firms as part of the BDO Global organization. This role aims to create an environment where firms share best practices in People & Culture initiatives, inspire one another, and actively engage with the wider P&C community to build a thriving global team.


Key accountabilities


Performance and progress in the following areas will be the priorities for this position:

  • Collaborate closely with member firms to achieve Global People & Culture strategic goals and translate them into concrete HR projects and initiatives.
  • Strengthen Global People & Culture community engagement by sharing best practices via monthly webcasts and supporting bi-annual summits.
  • Re-design and re-structure People & Culture related SharePoint sites to ensure easy navigation and serve as one stop shop for member firms, keeping all People & Culture sites up to date regularly.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies that align with the Global People & Culture goals. Create engaging content tailored to each communication channels such as Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, LinkedIn, newsletter etc.
  • Supporting firms with inquiries on People & Culture topics, onboard senior People & Culture colleagues from member firms, and engage in community-building activities.
  • Maximize the benefit of being part of BDO Global organisation by managing Global Agreements for HR-related external providers, and managing enablement programs for accounts.
  • Collaborate on initiatives that support the Global People & Culture strategy.


Qualifications


  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience in international & matrix structure and client facing working environment, able to understand complex organisation structure and work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Proven working experience in human resources and demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Experience in managing HR projects from inception to completion.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Curious by nature, with a growth mindset and able to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to forge a path through ambiguate environment towards a clear direction.
  • Proactive and driven to deliver the best outcome.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and able to create sustainable relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong leadership and team player who actively contributes to the development of the team through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English – spoken and written.
  • Good sense of humour especially when under time pressure with competing priorities.
