Team Overview

The warehousing team at Beko Europe - Belgium is targeting to deliver customer orders of Beko Goods on time and in full. The team is responsible for effectively managing all activities related warehousing in order to provide a high level of service to its stakeholders and customers. In this highly dynamic business field, the team aims to ensure that logistics operations meet internal & external expectations in a most cost effective way.

Role Summary

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse staff, including picking, repacking, loading and unloading operations. You’ll ensure that picking/putaway is done & issued in the system correctly. It is expected from this role to plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, repacking, loading and unloading. Ensure picking/putaway is done & issued in the system correctly.
• Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow.
• Train and develop a warehouse team on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies. Ensure correct Handling & Stacking is applied in the warehouse.
• Maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory. Ensure physical & systematical stock matches in Storage Bins.
• Control inbound & outbound plan, coordinates with other departments, when a capacity problem is foreseen.
• Organize cycle count routines and audits to provide inventory accuracy.
• Bring ideas for process improvement and implement efficient warehouse practices to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed. Creating a clean and orderly warehouse environment. While ensuring equipment is maintained and warn management & necessary teams about problematic equipment.
• Prepare studies & presentations on warehouse performance when necessary. Track & contribute improvement studies.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in SAP WM module preferred.
• Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations.
• Fluent in Dutch and high level of English.
• Knowledge of inventory management best practices and experience in conducting cycle counts and audits.
• Knowledge on health and safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
