📢 We are excited to announce the results of the latest EIC Accelerator funding round! This was a highly competitive process, with many innovative companies vying for support. The top-performing countries for winners were Germany (15), the Netherlands (9), Sweden (7), and Spain (6). • Out of the 1,211 proposals submitted, 431 were invited for an interview, and 71 companies have been selected for funding. Congratulations to these successful applicants! 🏆 • These promising companies will receive a total of €161 million in grants and approximately €226 million in equity investments. 💰 • A significant proportion of the selected companies (79%) will benefit from the blended finance option, which combines grant funding with equity investment. 🤝 • The selected companies represent a diverse range of sectors and come from across Europe, highlighting the breadth of innovation in our community. 🌍 At Euro-Funding Europe, we are super proud to have secured funding for 60% of our clients who reached the interview stage in the October call. This demonstrates our expertise in navigating the highly competitive application process and delivering outstanding results for our clients. 📢 The Future of EU Funding: What to Expect from the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) The European Union is gearing up for a major financial shift with discussions on the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034 already in motion. With proposals aiming to reshape EU budget priorities, we are looking at significant changes that will impact funding for innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness. 🔹 Key Highlights: ✅ A proposed structural reform to consolidate funds into a single country plan, linking disbursements to policy reforms. ✅ Spain’s proposal to double the EU budget to 2% of GDP, advocating for greater investment in digital and ecological transitions. ✅ Creation of a European Competitiveness Fund to ensure Europe’s leadership in strategic technologies. ✅ Ongoing debates on new EU revenue sources, such as digital and environmental taxes. The path ahead won’t be easy. With 27 member states needing unanimous approval, negotiations are expected to be intense. Formal talks begin in spring 2025, aiming for a final agreement before 2027.
