📣 We will be present on the ERRIN Board for another 3 years! 💡ERRIN (European Regions Research & Innovation Network) recently held its Autumn General Assembly, where the new board members were elected. We are proud to announce that the North-East Regional Development Agency, represented by Sebastian Hrib, coordinator of the Brussels Representation Office, has been re-elected for another three years. 🤝 This re-election reflects the trust of the ERRIN community in our active role and allows us to continue contributing to the network's strategic direction. During the same meeting, the 2025 budget proposal was approved, and the 2024 achievements were presented, including cluster activities and strategic initiatives for FP10. #EUinmyRegion #representation #innovation

🌍 This year’s AGORADA+ was yet another success! 🌟 We are thrilled to share insights from the panel discussion moderated by our colleague, Andreea Leru, on Urban Regeneration Planning, as the session explored innovative approaches to revitalizing urban spaces through citizen engagement, cross-sector collaboration, and data-driven sustainability. Key highlights included: 🔹 Nature-Based Solutions for reclaiming contaminated lands, showcasing multi-actor ecosystems and initiatives from the Walloon region. 🔹 Energy-efficient technologies like the Phineo project, focusing on sustainability in the automotive and construction sectors. 🔹 Net-zero building projects in Poland, featuring transformative urban investments, including remarkable efforts in Krakow, such as Schindler’s List building. 🔹 Clean tech adoption challenges and successes, underlining the role of innovation networks in overcoming barriers to implementation. 🌟 Additionally, Silviu Botez, Head of Office for External Relations and the Development of the Entrepreneurial Environment at Bacău County Council (Romania), contributed to panel "International Practices, Experiences, and Success Stories: From Adversity to Clustering". 🔹Yesterday, on November 12th, together with Europuls - Centrul de Expertiza Europeana, we organized the event “Meet & Greet with Romanian MEPs: Romania’s Priorities in the EU 2024-2029.” 🔹The debate, attended by 100 Romanians, launched the #EUROLEAD platform, aiming to bridge Romanian officials in Brussels with Romanian experts from various sectors, and covered topics such as the future EU budget, lessons from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), challenges for the younger generation, and ways to improve European funds absorption. 🔹The Director General of the North-East Regional Development Agency / Agentia pentru Dezvoltare Regionala Nord-Est-East Regional Development Agency, Vasile Asandei, was among the main speakers, stating that “we need cohesion in Europe, and we need cohesion in Romania. Not just cohesion achieved through funding programs but one built between people and institutions. We must be more united, more visionary, more realistic, and stronger in tackling future challenges. 💡 On November 6-7, 2024, our colleague, Andreea Leru, participated at the “Leading Industrial Transformation: University-Industry Collaboration” event organized by the Interreg Europe Policy Platform in Bilbao, Spain. Her presentation addressed the role of intermediaries in the research valorisation process. 🤝 On November 8, 2024, Andreea also took part in the matchmaking session titled “A Strategic Approach to Developing New S3 Economic Strengths in Northern Netherlands” where she shared insights and best practices from Romania on addressing regional innovation challenges, contributing valuable perspectives to discussions on policy support instruments and strategic vision development. #EUinmyregion
