Last week’s RSM European Tax Conference in London was a fantastic opportunity to engage with our colleagues from across Europe and dive into some of the most pressing tax issues we face today. The event was an excellent platform to share insights and collaborate on solutions that will help our clients navigate an increasingly complex tax landscape. Our Global Indirect Tax work group came together alongside other specialized work groups (M&A Tax, PCS Tax (Family Enterprises), Transfer Pricing, Global Business & International Tax and Global Employer Services). Throughout the conference, we engaged in detailed discussions on collaboration on global VAT projects, E-invoicing updates, specific issues regarding VAT and customs regulations, and discussed the latest ECJ cases that are shaping the European tax landscape. These work groups allowed us to share specialized knowledge and collaborate on solutions for complex tax challenges, empowering our clients to succeed globally. A special thanks to Andrew Seidler for hosting us, Rudolf Winkenius and Alexander Michelutti for their leadership, Caroline Walenkamp for making this event another success, and the other members (Piotr Wyrwa (Poland), Linnea Theilkemeier (Sweden), Joost Willemsen (UK), Andy Ilsley (UK), Christian Balk (UK), Kari Elisabeth Christiansen (Norway), Marjolein Joannard-Lardant (Kinds) (France), Kateřina Provodová (Czech Republic), Németh Lilla (Hungary) Richard de Grave (The Netherlands) and Jaouad Bantal (The Netherlands), Doina Georgescu (Romania) and Eva Rehberg (Germany) for their insights during the sessions. Looking forward to continuing our collaboration and empowering our clients with innovative and effective solutions. #RSM #EuropeanTax #Collaboration #VAT #Customs #TaxConference #GlobalTax #indirectTax#ThePowerOfBeingUnderstood #Teamwork
