About us
SEMICA SARL is a consulting firm specializing in the promotion and development of the energy, mining, quarrying and oil sectors in Africa. It organizes professional and panafrican conventions and exhibitions for the energy, mining, quarrying and petroleum sectors, in support of investors advice and business networking in Africa. Its headquarters are in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. For almost ten years, the firm has organized each year without interruption the SEMICA, International Energy, Mining and Quarries Convention & Exhibition thus contribute to consolidate the promotion of Burkina Faso destination to international investors. This major meeting of African and world professionals concerned with energy, mines, quarries and oil is today on the international agenda of major events on the continent. Professionals, participants and visitors come from all over the world including Canada, Australia, USA, Europe, Asia and of course African countries. Its primary objectives are to raise awareness of the energy, mining and oil sectors and more generally the mineral resources of the African continent in order to arouse the interest of investors but also to promote the image of a winning Africa. In addition to its recognized expertise in Burkina Faso as well as professionals in these sectors, its activities now extend internationally with ongoing projects in Benin, Togo, Liberia, Cameroon, Gabon, Côte in Central Africa, Mali and other African countries.
