Some partnerships are worth to be announced as news… 🤝🏾 We’ve officially joined forces with the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia in what feels like a perfect next step for our journey. 🧬 This partnership isn’t just a milestone—it’s a way to bridge the gap between science and business right here in Bulgaria. With the incredible support of Rector Prof. Senia Terzieva and Vice-Rector Prof. Dancho Danalev we’re coming together to tackle one of the biggest challenges in agriculture: reducing the dependency on nitrogen fertilizers. 🎉 Our work will be taking place in a brand-new laboratory provided by our partners at UCTM. This cutting-edge space will be where we collaborate to develop innovative microbial fertilizers that help farmers increase yields while reducing the need for traditional nitrogen fertilizers. 👁 We’re incredibly grateful for the trust and shared vision from UCTM, and we’re proud to be part of an initiative that’s bringing science and business together to drive real change. #SustainableFarming #Agriculture #Innovation #ScienceAndBusiness #FutureOfFarming

Fund of Funds in Bulgaria (FMFIB)

🌱 Eurostat Insights: Evolving Trends in European Agriculture Fertilizer Usage 🚀 Eurostat's data indicates a significant uptick in mineral fertilizer usage in the EU, hitting 11.2 million tonnes in 2020—an impressive 10.3% rise from 2010. 🌍 Leadership in Fertilizer Adoption Guess who's leading the fertilizer charge? Notably, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania experienced the most substantial growth from 2010 to 2023. 💡 Considerations as Consequences 1. Soil Health Concerns: Overuse can disrupt soil nutrient balance, jeopardizing long-term agricultural sustainability. 2. Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Fertilizer production and application contribute to nitrous oxide emissions, a significant climate change factor. 3. Environmental Impact: Excess nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers contribute to water pollution, impacting aquatic ecosystems. As European agriculture expands, it's crucial to balance productivity with sustainability. It's a call to arms for collaborative efforts aligning growth objectives with ecological consciousness. 💯 Stay tuned for Foodilizer's upcoming product—a game-changer poised to enhance soil health and tackle the challenges posed by increased fertilizer usage. Let's cultivate a sustainable future together! 🌱 Source: Eurostat #agriculture #foodilizerinnovation. #foodwaste #revolution
