Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company ("Mumtalakat")

In conjunction with the state visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the accompanying delegation to the Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain Food Holding Company ("BFHC")—a local subsidiary of Mumtalakat—has signed an MoU with Nitaj - Oman Food Investment Holding (S.A.O.C), the Omani’s government food sector investment and development arm. The signing was led by H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of Mumtalakat, and H.E. Sultan Al Habsi, Oman’s Minister of Finance and Chairman of Oman Investment Authority.    The MoU between aims to explore joint investment opportunities and enhance cooperation and knowledge exchange to develop best practices in efforts to achieve food security. Additionally, it focuses on developing and marketing products from both parties to expand into regional and international markets, as well as collaborating on sustainability initiatives and innovative solutions to address common challenges in agriculture and food security.

Mumtalakat participated today in Arcapita’s annual National Day celebration, which was attended by the building’s executive managements, employees and their families. The event included various entertainment activities and traditional food vendors. This celebration paid homage to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, under which Bahrain continues to witness comprehensive development and a prosperous economy. It also celebrates the Government's vital role in supporting the Kingdom’s economic vision.

In a gathering at Mumtalakat’s headquarters, the board of directors, executive management and staff of Mumtalakat joined to celebrate McLaren's recent victory of the F1 Constructors’ Championship and their first-place finish at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The event was also attended by members of the McLaren Group’s board of directors and executive management, highlighting the collaborative efforts that led to these remarkable achievements. The event celebrated the recent milestones achieved through Mumtalakat’s strategic transformation of McLaren Group, setting the foundation for future successes.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, have witnessed the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between CYVN Holdings LLC (“CYVN”), an advanced mobility operator and investment vehicle based in Abu Dhabi, and Mumtalakat. Under this agreement, CYVN will acquire McLaren’s automotive business and a non-controlling stake in McLaren’s racing business. Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and obtaining regulatory approvals. The acquisition follows an announcement of a potential partnership between Mumtalakat and CYVN Holdings in October of this year. Through this acquisition, CYVN is set to empower McLaren to reach its full potential via access to engineering and design capabilities, leading-edge technology, and experienced leadership to propel McLaren’s trajectory. https://lnkd.in/d9bAHM83

TrackMan uses the latest innovation and radar technology to provide precision with every golf swing, providing insightful data for players of all levels to improve their performance. This forms part of Mumtalakat’s commitment to elevating the golf scene and promoting sports within the Kingdom.
