In September 2023, we proudly launched HQ by Hope Ventures, Bahrain’s largest co-working space, in partnership with Seef Properties B.S.C. Our vision was to address a market gap by creating a collaborative environment where startups and SMEs could thrive—and the results have exceeded all expectations. In just one year: - Our occupancy rate has surpassed projections. - Over 100 workshops have been hosted, empowering entrepreneurs with knowledge and resources. - A true collaborative environment has emerged, featuring key tenants such as a notary, legal consultancy, marketing and recruitment firms, bookkeeping and financial consultants, IT consultants, and us—Hope Ventures offering funding opportunities for startups and SMEs. Building on this success, we’re thrilled to announce the expansion of HQ by Hope Ventures to District Courtyard. Our growing community of innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and experts will have even more opportunities to collaborate, share knowledge, and scale their businesses internationally—strengthening Bahrain’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

I recently gave a workshop on go-to-market and startup marketing to 6 startup teams as part of the Green Youth Hackathon, held in Bahrain at HQ by Hope Ventures. The competition focused on two UN Sustainable Development Goals; “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure”, and “Sustainable Cities and Communities”. I was truly impressed with the ideas and the drive of the young entrepreneurs; from green energy production, repurposing and recycling plastic waste, better public transport, to cooler and cleaner climates; every one of the 36 entrepreneurs has both the passion and the brilliance to disrupt and make a difference. It was a pleasure to also attend the closing ceremony and watch the entrepreneurs pitch their bright ideas to the panel of judges. It was a delight moderating the experts panel discussion at the successful Creative Horizons event this weekend at HQ by Hope Ventures.
