At the Oficial Belgian Reception during the BEM - Belgian Economic Mission to Brazil, it was a pleasure to be welcomed with the words "Senhoras e senhores, sejam muito bem vindos nesta noite" by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium. It has been a great honor to be a part of the BEM. As this was my first experience with such an initiative, I've been continuously impressed by the openness and collaboration acumen of the Belgian people. I hope everyone who traveled to Brazil to build business connections and foster relationships among people felt warmly welcomed. My thanks to all who joined me during this journey! To appreciate great art in great company is fantastic! It was a pleasure of attending the opening of the "RÊVERIES" exhibition at the Museu da Imagem e do Som de São Paulo - MIS, by Harry Fayt and made possible by the Consulado Geral da Bélgica of São Paulo, under the leadership of Valentine Mangez. I also had the opportunity to meet Laurent Bernard from the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency, Alexandre Gofflot from the Wallonie Bruxelles International, João Wagner Ebeling from Cosco Shipping (South America) Co. Ltda., and Marc Storms - who shared inspiring stories about the long-standing collaboration between the people of Belgium and Brazil. It was great to take part with my partners Giovanni Montoneri and Gabriel Loschiavo in one of the first events of the Belgian Economic Mission in Brazil. The visit to Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand - MASP was an opportunity to appreciate art and to meet so many people in our city. It was great to meet Maarten Libeer, Claude A. van Osselt, Claudia Rolim, Piet Demunter, Jochen Friedrichs, Matthias Malfrere, Charles Contamine and Rodrigo dos SANTOS A. GARCIA in person for the first time. I also feel compelled to congratule and thank Belgalux - Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Belgo-Luxemburguesa-Brasileira no Brasil for being a central part of the BEM, fostering som many connections.
