It could be really tempting to want to start coding without even a one-day delay. But there are many 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to ask when you're planning to launch something new 📋🚀 Taking the time to get your facts straight certainly helps product owners, founders, and teams make better decisions not based on guesswork. In fact, the more preparation work you do prior to starting development, the smoother and more organized your processes will be. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬❓ This could be an ongoing thing as you can continuously refine your product at various stages of the development life cycle. But usually, the majority of questions are asked before development begins. Dive in to find a compilation of 𝟒𝟎+ 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫. Importantly, these aren't question samples to ask customers during an interview. Instead, they deal with crucial business and product-related matters that can help you avoid do-overs and budget overruns, leading to smoother development projects and more successful releases ⤵ https://lnkd.in/dX6XpeuR #DiscoveryPhase #MVP #ProductDevelopment #ProjectPlanning #Entrepreneurship

Is 𝐧𝐨-𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐕𝐏 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 worth it? And does it have real long-term benefits compared to 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐕𝐏 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and traditional programming? Let's compare these 2 paths: 🍜 𝐍𝐨-𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐕𝐏 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ➥ Utilizing no-code builders for MVP creation is very tempting for non-techie founders. You don't need extensive coding knowledge, AI is there to help, and even a kid can manage. It's a cheap shortcut - "instant noodle" style. ➥ You pull a few drag-and-drop blocks around and quickly get an MVP to show your early users. But will it be enough to last? ➥ An MVP has to provide real value, otherwise, it's not an MVP. It should be a shrunken version of the big fancy "lasagna" product you plan it to evolve into someday. Should you expect early users to fall in love with the product if you give them the "instant noodles" version? ➥ Sure, sometimes it's enough to convince users of the product's value. No-code MVPs can work for small, not too too tech-based products, landing pages, and fake doors. ➥ But for more sophisticated SaaS products, no-code is typically a no-go. Their long-term benefits are doubtful, you'll likely have to rebuild everything. 🍝 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦-𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐌𝐕𝐏𝐬 ➥ Can you name at least 3 super successful SaaS startups, unicorns, or neat products solely based on no-code tools? Exactly... Because despite the popularity of no-code, it cannot fully substitute traditional software development. ➥ Yes, there are many inspiring MVP examples of early products launched using no-code or low-code. But do these companies still rely on such builders as a basis for their products? Most likely not. That's because no-code tools are better for something temporary. ➥ For SaaS or intricate products, you need a "home-cooked lasagna". No-code tools might not be enough to deliver long-term value, and you shouldn't even expect them to. ➥ You may cut some corners and release the minimum viable product faster with no code, but chances are, you'll end up with no other choice but to start over and do it the right way from the ground up. ➥ Investors also look "under the hood" when considering projects for funding. A functioning MVP with proven traction matters, but so does technical due diligence. ➥ Custom MVP creation doesn't mean your entire solution will be hand-coded and consist of 100% unique code (shattered glass sounds). Developers building MVPs also apply various frameworks and link up third-party solutions to accelerate the process and not waste money on reinventing the wheel. What are your thoughts? A 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 is like low-fat yoghurt 🍧 Rather than taking years to build something huge and calorie-rich, you start small, collect feedback, act on it, adding more gradually. Lather, rinse, repeat style... It seems easy. But there's a lot to decide on, plan, and coordinate during the process. What if you haven't done this before? Or what if you lack a team or the needed skills to bring a quality MVP to life? 👀 One good option is outsourcing it to a trusted partner. When selected wisely, the approach of passing on the tech execution to a third party can free up your core team to concentrate on other business-related things, let you get access to external knowledge, and save you some money. But how do you 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭-𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐕𝐏 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 among the thousands offering such services? Skipping the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 is like jumping into new board game without reading the rules first 🎲 You're super excited to play, but when things get tricky, you're left scrambling trying to figure out what to do next. And when this translates to lost investment, time, energy, and resources in the course of development, let's face it, it's not fun. Without a clear understanding of your goals, target users, and the problem you're solving, it's like playing blindfolded. You might move a few pieces around, but the odds are, you won't succeed in the game. Ouch, that's a tough pill to swallow! If you skip the discovery phase, you might not even realize what you've missed until you're knee-deep in development, dealing with delays, budget blowouts, or worse, a product that falls flat when it hits the market 🚧 The discovery phase is your safety net. It's your chance to map out the entire project prior to starting development. You can figure out the strategy and make sure you're playing with the right pieces from the get-go. Bottom line: it is wise to figure out the "whys" and the "hows" in advance (especially the technical peculiarities, team composition, timelines, and realistic budget estimates). To make sure you stay on track, we've put together a 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 to walk you through the process step-by-step so you have everything you need to set the foundation for a successful project launch (without guesswork). Feel free to snatch the checklist and check out the complete guide for detailed explanations and tips ⤵ https://lnkd.in/dJehkzP3 #ProjectDiscovery #ProductDevelopment #MVP #TechStartups #ProductLaunch

If you're not careful when 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐕𝐏 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞, you might end up with a Frankenstein's monster of a product instead of a minimum viable one. It starts off looking okay, but as you keep adding more features as you go (just one more, right?) it gets messier and messier. It's like trying to bake a cake with every ingredient in your pantry. Next thing you know, you've got a bloated, overcomplicated, budget-busting, delayed disaster that's totally lost the plot. Yikes ⚠️ So, what are your options? If you try to bring every idea to life, you'll waste time, energy, and resources building things no one even asked for 🤷🏻♀️ Don't forget that your budget isn't elastic, and you can't risk losing focus on what really matters – the core problem you're solving with a few of the most important features. But scoping your MVP goes far beyond just feature picking – it's about setting clear goals, structuring the project, deciding on the tech, aligning your team, and making sure your resources are used wisely. To help you set the right MVP scope from the start, we've put together a comprehensive guide on everything you need to know: 🟡 what is MVP scoping and when to do it 🟡 why defining your MVP scope properly is essential for success 🟡 what to include in your scope beyond just features 🟡 actionable guidelines to define your MVP scope in 7 simple steps 🟡 4 helpful tips and common mistakes to avoid during the scoping process Keep reading to discover how to create a solid foundation that ensures your MVP development stays on track, doesn't get lost in the weeds, and most importantly, delivers value to your users ⤵ https://lnkd.in/dj8U-6rm #MVP #Scoping #ProductDevelopment #TechStartups #StartupTips
