Until a couple of months back, I thought that stickiness ratio was a smart metric to track, & very important too. I also thought it made me look cool & knowledgeable 😅 But now, I’ve realized that it’s nothing more than a vanity metric from an analytics standpoint. Why? → Because it’s not actionable I’ve worked with 20+ early-stage startups to help them gain insights into their user behavior, & although the stickiness ratio always felt like a smart metric - I was never able to make any use of it to understand users. Hence, my current approach while working with startups is to have metrics that are very actionable in nature, and that give a clear understanding of product usage by the user. Keep your metrics simple, not fancy. To end, I will say that a metric like the stickiness ratio can be a good metric from a business point of view, or to showcase to investors. #anshdoesanalytics #analytics #stickinessratio #startupinsights #insights

We’re launching a brand new market map experience for VCs to find the fastest-growing startups in a number of categories. Traditionally, market maps are visuals that showcase logos grouped into sub-sectors within a category. These are industry-standard and work fine, however they can become outdated quickly with the inability to add new/more players. They can also become visually crowded, hard to see, and lack the ability to link out to each company. Overall, they aren’t very user friendly. We wanted to fix that. We’ve created a single, LIVE, always up-to-date webpage that hosts market maps across multiple sectors that are easy to sort, search, and filter. There is no limit to the number of companies we can add, enabling us to continuously grow the map as new startups emerge. We’re kicking off with three areas in B2B SaaS (more to come): ↕️ Vertical AI 🕵 AI Agents 🏥 Healthcare Take a look! https://lnkd.in/eptg9A68 Have we missed your company? Request to join directly from the webpage.

Skipping User Research? Think Again! "I already know my users & their pain points!" "Is User research really necessary?" If you've ever found yourself pondering these questions, you're in the right place. Launching a startup is thrilling and it’s easy to push aside some steps to focus on what seems immediately crucial—product development, funding rounds, you name it. User research often ends up on the chopping block. But here's the truth: that's a big mistake. User research is essential for your product’s success. Without it, you're essentially navigating without a map. Think of it as your guide, offering invaluable insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Skipping it doesn’t just risk missing the mark with your target audience- it almost ensures it. Here's why user research should never be overlooked: ✅ It ensures product-market fit: Your idea might be brilliant, but does it resonate with your target audience? ✅ User research continuously tests and refines your concept against real- world feedback, keeping you aligned with market needs. ✅ Reduces costly pivots: Learning late in the game that your product doesn't meet user expectations can be financially devastating. ✅ Early and ongoing user research helps you iterate before costs balloon. ✅ Builds a user-centric culture: Startups that thrive put users at the forefront. ✅ User research fosters a culture that prioritizes user experience above all, which can be a significant competitive advantage. ✅ When you start to think from a user-first perspective it profoundly impacts every aspect of your product strategy, from development to marketing. In the hyper-competitive landscape, user research isn't just helpful; it's non-negotiable. It's the pulse checking that keeps your product alive and kicking. So before you consider cutting corners, remember: the most successful startups aren't just those with groundbreaking ideas, but those that deeply understand and cater to their users. Are you making user research a priority in your startup journey? If not, it's time to start. #userresearch #startupfounders #userconnectconsultancy

🚀 Startups are no joke! 😅 Today, I spent hours obsessing over one thing: displaying data in a table. 📊 We’re talking hundreds of thousands of records, loading in split seconds, and it all has to flow seamlessly. Sorting, searching, selecting—plus, it’s got to reflect our brand voice. Sure, some might say, "Just use an off-the-shelf template." But I can tell the difference—and if I can, I know my customers can. 💯 I’m obsessed with delivering the best experience for them. 👊 #StartupLife #CustomerFirst #CodeObsessed #AttentionToDetail #InviteJet

Someone told me that 9 out of 10 founders think that their startup is unique, implying that maybe these founders (including me) are naive about their market requirements. I simply replied that I’m not familiar with such statistics. I only know the following: - 10 months ago, I thought I could bring something unique in a busy market - 7 months ago, someone believed in us - 4 months ago, I have seen the first POC of what my team could deliver - 2 months ago, people started showing interest in the concept via LOIs - today, we have a list of businesses interested purchasing the product in pre-launch Maybe I’m naive enough to think that our startup is unique, but I found comfort in the feedback of our potential customers. #DalilAI #CRMandAI #Innovation #CRM
