  • Today’s meeting between President Zelenskyy and Donald Trump exposed a troubling disregard for Ukraine’s fight for survival and global security. At a time when Ukraine is defending democracy against russian aggression, there is no room for arrogance. 🔹 Ukraine needs security guarantees, military aid, and a just and lasting peace—not lectures or concessions. 🔹 Appeasement emboldens the aggressor. No leader should pressure Ukraine into deals that reward russia’s war crimes. 🔹 This war is not a political game—it is a fight for democracy and global stability. Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce stands firmly with Ukraine’s right to defend itself and rebuild a strong, sovereign future. We call on all allies to uphold their commitments and reject any attempts to weaken support for Ukraine. 📄 Full statement attached. #StandWithUkraine

  • 3 Years of Resilience. 3 Years of Courage. 3 Years of Defiance. Today marks three years since russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine—three years of unimaginable suffering, destruction, and loss. Thousands of innocent lives have been taken. Millions of families have been torn apart, forced to flee their homes. Entire cities have been reduced to rubble. The cost of this war has been devastating, but Ukraine has never wavered. Ukrainian people continue to fight—not just for their land, but for the values that unite the free world: democracy, sovereignty, and the right to live without fear of tyranny. Their resilience has inspired nations, and their sacrifices demand our unwavering support. Now, more than ever, democratic nations must stand together. Ukraine’s struggle is not just about one country—it is about defending the principles that uphold global security. If we fail to support Ukraine, we allow aggression to go unpunished, we weaken democracy, and we risk a future where might makes right. For three years, Ukraine has paid the ultimate price for freedom. We cannot let this sacrifice be in vain. The world must remain resolute, ensuring that justice prevails and that Ukraine emerges victorious—free, sovereign, and stronger than ever. #StandWithUkraine #DefendDemocracy #EconomicFront

Ambassador Kovaliv highlighted key points: ✅ Ukraine seeks a lasting and just peace —a ceasefire or frozen conflict is not a solution. ✅ Security guarantees are essential, as history has shown that agreements with Russia cannot be trusted. ✅ Urgent military assistance is needed to ensure Ukraine can defend itself effectively. A powerful conversation reinforcing the importance of NATO’s continued support for Ukraine’s security and long-term stability. #UkraineNATO
