Canadian Advanced Therapies Training Institute - Addressing the skills gap in advanced therapies biomanufacturing
About us
CATTI was launched through a partnership between CellCAN and CCRM, is developing and scaling e-learning and on-site GMP training programs for efficient and rapid upskilling of the biomanufacturing workforce required in Canada and internationally. CATTI’s goals are to fill the dearth in available talent of HQP trained and qualified for workflow under aseptic conditions and bridge the gap between the academic background qualifications and the market readiness of HQP.

📣 Exciting News in Biomanufacturing Training! We're thrilled to announce our new collaboration with OUAT! to bring innovative virtual reality training solutions to the Canadian biopharma industry. As part of this partnership, CATTI will use #HakoBio to create a 3D digital twin of our training center and to mock other typical biomanufacturing environments. These virtual replicas will form the foundation for developing enhanced training material and offering trainees a unique opportunity to test real-world situations in a safe, de-risked environment. This initiative represents a critical step in addressing the skills gap in advanced therapies manufacturing. This partnership not only enhances the learning experiences at CATTI but also marks a pivotal moment in expanding HakoBio's presence across North America. We’re excited to team up with OUAT! and look forward to empowering the next generation of biopharma professionals and shaping the future of training. 🔗 Check out the complete news release on our website: https://catti.ca/ #DigitalTwins #Biopharma #Innovation #Biomanufacturing #FutureOfWork #VRTraining #HakoBio #AdvancedTherapies #Celltherapy #Genetherapy #Training

CATTI reposted this
Having a fantastic time representing CATTI at the Mayo Clinic RegenBio Summit! So many great things happening at each of their 3 campuses. I’m here doing what I love to do: talking about workforce development for GMP manufacturing of cell and gene therapies. Huge thanks to Saranya Wyles, M.D., Ph.D. for the invite. Had a great time contributing to the Breakfast with Industry Experts this morning.

Happy to assist! Thanks again CCR for the gowns. So thankful for this great relationship we have! Craig Hasilo Sandra Syriani Chris Simpson Warren Penney
On Friday (Nov 22), students of the Industrial therapeutics biomanufacturing course that I teach at Polytechnique Montréal with Denis deBlois undertook a cleanroom gowning exercise thanks to Sandra Syriani of CCR who provided the gowns and assisted with the training and Craig Hasilo, my colleague at CATTI who led the gowning training. This gave students another hands-on experience of what biomanufacturing involves.
