That's a wrap on Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Canada (ACEC-Canada)'s Future Leaders Forum - a program tailored for next generation leaders eager to make a mark. After months of online learning, 40 program participants met in Calgary this week for a two-day intensive. The final challenge? To collaborate to deliver presentations to the Board of Directors, and apply everything they've learned to shape the future of our industry. Kudos to our very own Evelyn Caron, Courtney Bacon, Jodie Hannen and Isaac Prevost for representing CIMA+. County of Simcoe tapped CIMA+ to transform the intersection at County Roads 21 and 56 into a roundabout — improving safety, sightlines and traffic flow. Les trains ont déjà commencé à utiliser cette gare modernisée, offrant un espace accueillant et apaisant pour les voyageurs des trains de banlieue. 🚉 Un grand merci à nos partenaires, Tisseur et TERGOS Architecture et Construction, pour leur expertise en construction permettant de concrétiser cette vision. // Located just steps away from our Montreal office, Lucien-L'Allier station is undergoing a transformation with the addition of a mass timber exterior roof. Trains have now started using this upgraded station, providing a welcoming and serene space for suburban train travelers. 🚉 A big thank you to our partners, Tisseur and Tergos, whose construction expertise is bringing this vision to life. Pour souligner ses 50 ans, l’AFG publie des photos d’archives de projets du #géniequébécois qui ont contribué à bâtir le Québec d’aujourd’hui. Entre 2005 et 2010, l’Université de Sherbrooke réalise à Longueuil un nouveau campus fonctionnel, polyvalent et moderne de 41 000 m² de superficie et de 16 étages, 465 places de stationnements sur trois niveaux de sous-sol et des espaces commerciaux, un défi pour l’équipe de gestion de projet de CIMA+. Au troisième niveau apparaît aussi une terrasse qui s’articule autour de bassins d’eau et de plantations, permettant la détente avec comme arrière-plan une vue splendide sur le campus vertical et la métropole. Un projet de Centre de R & D de haute technologie destiné à propulser le Technoparc de Bromont dans le très privé cercle des Centres d'excellence en commercialisation et en recherche. Un projet ambitieux de 220 M$ à concevoir et construire en un peu plus de 2 ans. Un défi de gestion relevé avec brio par la firme CIMA+.
