The regular full time Communications Operator 2 supports police operations and community safety at the Coquitlam RCMP Detachment, working as part of a team on 12-hour rotating shifts (2 day shifts and 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off). After grade nine student Travis Price was bullied for wearing a pink shirt, two older students arranged for all the boys at their school to dress in pink the next morning, standing in solidarity. Since that first organized effort, the anti-bullying date has been observed in nearly 180 countries.
