We’re thrilled to share that Giuseppe DiTacchio, Board President of Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, had the honour of representing TD Salsa In Toronto on stage at the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Festivals & Events Appreciation Reception! TD Salsa In Toronto joined OssFest and Taste of Lawrence as the only three speakers chosen to highlight the incredible impact of Toronto’s festivals, sharing insights on engaging event sponsorships and showcasing how Salsa continues to bring culture, connection, and economic vibrancy to our city. It was a special moment when Mayor Olivia Chow joined Giuseppe on stage, celebrating Salsa’s contributions and even joking about winning the next political dance-off at Salsa! It was also great to see as always MPP Dr. Jill Andrew, and Aderonke Akande, Director of Arts & Culture for the City of Toronto. A huge thank you to the Mayor and the City of Toronto for recognizing Salsa and its role in bringing our community together through music, dance, and cultural celebration. After having celebrated our 20th anniversary this year, we’re looking forward to more exciting moments in 2025, and seeing everyone at Salsa on St Clair on July 5 & 6!

It was a night to remember at TD's Latin Employee Network Intersectionality Gala! Hosted by TLN Media Group's Joey Mirelli, the event celebrated Latin American and Hispanic Heritage Month with an engaging Fireside Chat, where the theme 'Intersectionality in Empowering Leadership' reminded us how our collective experiences make us whole. The colourful carnival performances brought the vibrant spirit of Latin America to life! We are proud to collaborate with TD Latin Employee Network through the TD Ready Commitment as title sponsors of the TD Salsa in Toronto Festival.
