I love art and culture AND I love engagement and connection. At the #iap2nacottawa, Anne Harding and I wanted to find a unique way to interweave both of these loves. This came to life via a unique piece of artwork by Cree/Métis artist Darren Rea.  Darren’s piece explores this dance between fear and courage, separation and connection—a reminder that courage today means gathering together, despite all that pulls us apart. 🧡🤝 We hope you enjoy this as much as we did and are sharing this image to extend the gift to those who couldn’t be with us. 🎨✨ The original poem on the back of the postcard reads: Guided, & Being fully present, As the light of who we truly are. It takes showing up & embodying the courage to cross those waters, climb those mountains, and embrace the glory - inside us all, Inside all our hearts. Our screens connect us - yet we must also, take the leap into radically living, Heart to Heart - Barefoot upon these lands, surrounded and among all our relations. Mental, Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, We heal every aspect of who we are, & Experience Infinity. In The Present Moment. Always.
