It was a LARGE DAY yesterday! As a lead up to Dildo Brewing's Open House today at the NEW Production Facility, we welcomed industry partners, government representatives, media, taproom partners and many friends and family to celebrate the incredible milestone of bringing this new facility over the finish line! A huge thanks to Minister Steve Crocker, MHA Sherry Gambin-Walsh and Fred Woodman for their kind remarks. Also the many partners and peers we had in the room helping cheer us on! ✨️Having excellent partners counts, thanks to Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland for helping us celebrate our New Production Facility launch! ✨️
A very busy week! Fall is the time when I get to reconnect with our members, partners, and the other amazing people of our provincial tourism industry. First, we at Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland held our AGM. We had a great turn out, and it was great to connect with our all-stars and meet some new people into the fold. After working here for 12 years, we have never been better, and our AGM always feels like a great time to take stock and reset before the holidays — before my road show starts again in January! Next was the Destination St. John's Partner Day. We’re a natural fit — we’re the bay to their town, and connecting with our tourism family inside the city is crucial to success. I found the DestinationNEXT presentation especially fascinating — a lot of subjects I haven’t thought about, and it gave me a whole new perspective. I don’t need many excuses to visit Dildo Brewing Co. — a big fan — but I definitely had to see their new facilities at their grand opening. I love the local brewing scene — so many other breweries were in attendance to cheer on their peers. And that’s not all — the place was packed, an amazing show of support for a local, rural, success story. Oh, and the beer was great!
