Exciting milestone for Duxion Motors: INSAT ~ INTAD Funding for Electric Jet Ground Testing! We are thrilled to announce that Duxion Motors Inc., in collaboration with Tronosjet Maintenance Inc., has secured funding from INSAT ~ INTAD for the ground testing of our innovative experimental “electric jet” aircraft. This project marks a significant step in the evolution of sustainable aviation technology. Our focus is the preparation of Duxion’s 250kW eJet motor for its first flight, supported by groundbreaking enhancements in system redundancy, weight optimization, and altitude capabilities. This single-engine, single-seat jet, powered exclusively by batteries and the Duxion eJet, will undergo rigorous ground testing to ensure readiness for subsequent flight tests. The collaboration between Duxion Motors (Newfoundland and Labrador) and Tronosjet Maintenance Inc. (Prince Edward Island) reflects the strength of regional partnerships driving aerospace innovation. We extend our deepest gratitude to INSAT for their invaluable support, as well as to François-Philippe Champagne - Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry and Victoria Belbin M.M.S, ICD.D from ACADA for their tremendous commitment to advancing aerospace innovation in Canada. Your leadership and support have been instrumental in making this project possible. Key outcomes of this INSAT ~ INTAD-funded project will include comprehensive learnings from system analysis, precision manufacturing, aircraft integration, and ground testing. These lessons will inform detailed project close-out analyses, laying the groundwork for the future scalability of this technology for broader commercial applications.
