We just had to share this incredible story! Evelyn Serbout founder of Outreach Program Canada, and one of our amazing supporters, took the leftover volunteer T-shirts from the Energy Disruptors UNITE Summit halfway across the world and distributed them in Morocco. She visited an inspiring non-profit called Street Class, which helps street children learn English. For these kids, learning English opens doors—doors to jobs, opportunities, and the possibility of breaking the cycle of homelessness to support their families. Check out Evelyn rocking her pink EDU volunteer shirt in the middle of this photo—what a powerful symbol of connection and hope! Stories like this remind us that even the smallest actions can ripple outward and create meaningful change. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of stepping onto the Energy Disruptors Unite stage to share some of the lessons I’ve learned from my journey as both a professional athlete and entrepreneur. The experience was both thrilling and humbling. When I agreed to the opportunity, I felt a wave of confidence—excited to test myself as a storyteller in a format I had never explored. But, as the reality set in about six weeks before the talk, so did the self-doubt: Would anyone even care about this topic? That moment of panic was a powerful reminder of the challenges we all face, whether in sport, business, or life. It pushed me to lean on a strategy that has served me well over the years—training. This post isn’t just about the talk itself, but about the people who make our journeys possible. A huge thank you to my dear friend and coach, Vince Fowler, who guided me through the preparation process. Vince helped me navigate my ideas, refine my delivery, and step onto that stage feeling confident and ready. The talk ended up being one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I’m thrilled to share it with you today.
