The Mississippi Emerging Evaluator (MEE) Fellows were joined by some very special guests in the last two sessions of 2024! Each professional development session features an introduction to a real-world evaluator. Endaisia Love, M.Ed., independent consultant and EvalYouth North America Board Member, shared the emerging evaluator perspective of engaging with fellowships and other professional development opportunities to apply evaluation skills in philanthropic and non-profit evaluation contexts. Karen Terrell Jackson, Ph.D., the American Evaluation Association president-elect with roots in coastal Mississippi, shared her journey to evaluation and tips for bridging transformative leadership and evaluation skillsets. The alignment of the inaugural cohort of MEE Fellows with the election of a Mississippi-rooted president of the national evaluation association is so inspiring.
