With 257 branches across the country, we’re proud to serve urban, suburban, rural and metropolitan communities alike. In 2024, we opened six new branches and refreshed 24 others to better meet the needs of the diverse communities we serve. Yvonne a été une force motrice au cours du Mois de l’engagement communautaire, alors qu’elle a organisé une collecte de denrées et des dons de sacs à dos pour les personnes en situation d’itinérance. Elle s’implique également dans le programme « Votre propre entreprise » de JA Canada qui aide les élèves du primaire à en apprendre davantage sur l’entrepreneuriat et la littératie financière. A big round of applause for Fairstone's first-ever Community Hero Award recipient Yvonne Van Ryk, whose dedication to community engagement is inspiring. Yvonne has been a driving force during our Community Matters Month, organizing a food drive and backpack donations for those experiencing homelessness. She also volunteers with JA Canada's “Business of Our Own” program, helping students learn about entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Chez Fairstone, nous sommes engagés à aider et à soutenir les communautés où nous vivons et travaillons. C’est pourquoi nous appuyons United Way Centraide Canada, qui a comme mission de s’attaquer aux principaux problèmes sociaux comme la pauvreté, les inégalités et le développement communautaire partout au Canada. Notre campagne annuelle est maintenant commencée, et nos employés se réunissent pour amasser des dons. En guise de remerciement, ceux qui donnent l’équivalent d’une heure de salaire tous les mois pendant l’année recevront une « Journée des anges » payée. Depuis 2018, nous avons accordé plus de 1600 Journées des anges. Le travail de Centraide est plus important que jamais, c’est pourquoi nous sommes fiers d’appuyer ses efforts visant à apporter des changements positifs et durables dans la vie des Canadiens d’un océan à l’autre. #FièrementFairstone #MardiJeDonne

At Fairstone, we are committed to enriching and supporting the communities where we live and work. That’s why we support United Way Centraide Canada in its mission to address critical social issues like poverty, inequity and community development across Canada. Our annual campaign is now underway, with employees coming together to raise donations. As a thank you, those who contribute the equivalent of one hour's pay each month for the year earn a paid "Angel Day." Since 2018, more than 1,600 Angel Days have been granted. United Way's work is more important than ever, and we’re proud to support its efforts in creating lasting, positive change for Canadians coast to coast. #GivingTuesday #FairstoneProud

🌟 A Huge Thank You to the team incredible team at Fairstone Bank! 🌟 We’re thrilled to highlight an inspiring act of kindness and community spirit from the inspiring team at Fairstone Bank.  Last Friday, they cooked 32 mouth-watering and nutrient-rich Peruvian-style chicken and rice meals in their kitchen and delivered them to the MIND Program - Moving In New Directions. The entire team went above and beyond—shopping for groceries, preparing delicious meals, and personally delivering them to us for distribution to those in need. 💛 This incredible contribution was made through United Way Greater Toronto’s Day of Caring Projects, where our new Volunteer Kitchen Program was featured. This program allows businesses and individuals to make a real difference by preparing meals off-site, packaging them, and delivering them to us. Every meal prepared brings comfort, nourishment, and hope to South Scarborough residents facing food insecurity. The demand for food and prepared meals continues to rise, and we need your help.
