About us

JA Canada inspires the next generation to realize their potential and make a positive impact in their communities. Through our network of local offices, we collaborate with educators, volunteers, and organizations across Canada to deliver hands-on, immersive, and digital learning experiences to young people. JA commits to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity through programs that help youth build transferable skills in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship. Success starts here. Last year alone, more than 240,000 students in communities across Canada, benefited from JA programs delivered by over 11,000 of our dedicated volunteers. Each day, JA staff and volunteers located in our National office and our Charters across Canada work hard toward the attainment of our mission - to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

  • 💡 Be Entrepreneurial is an interactive program that teaches high school students how to launch businesses and drive the Canadian economy!   • One of our areas of focus at JA is to equip youth with skills in work readiness as they prepare for their future 🌟. Last year, more than 216,000 of our learning opportunities across Canada included activities with a focus on career readiness 💼. Skills they develop can include: ✅ Learning what a business is ✅ Building a toolkit of transferrable skills ✅ Gaining Insights on different career paths ✅ Exploring post-secondary options ✅ Practicing how to introduce yourself and how to participate in a job interview ✅ Developing well-being tactics to become more resilient JA programs and learning experiences are available at no cost to the user.
