The 8th edition of the State of Blended Finance is now available for download: https://bit.ly/3WmBDjU Blended finance totals have bounced back to near pre-pandemic volumes, reaching a 5-year high of $15 billion in 2023. The report also saw a significant uptick in the cadence of blended finance over time, with an increase in the average number of annual blended finance transactions from 2021-2023 compared to the past decade. Additionally, this year's report explores some of the key regulatory roadblocks faced by large-scale commercial investors active in blended finance and delves into transparency in blended finance. We offer two sets of recommendations, to address some of the regulatory hurdles facing blended finance and to improve information sharing between data providers.
