#HospitalRuberInternacional's article provides a fantastic summary of our recent research collaboration with their embryology team, presented this past weekend at #COGI2024 by Dr. Yosu Franco Iriarte. This study externally validates our novel #AI model, which provides a non-invasive method to predict blastocyst euploidy directly from oocyte images. *Key findings* 📊 Through analysis of 600+ images, MAGENTA was able to distinguish between oocytes that developed into blastocysts and those that did not. In a subset of 170 oocyte images where PGTA outcomes were available for the resulting blastocysts, our novel AI model effectively distinguished between oocytes that developed into euploid and aneuploid blastocysts. Probabilities were significantly higher for oocytes resulting in euploid blastocysts, demonstrating its potential clinical utility. 👩🔬 In women over 35, where genetic abnormalities are more prevalent, the model showed significant potential in identifying embryos with a higher likelihood of euploidy, offering new insights to enhance outcomes in this patient group.
