On November 28, the Arbutus site team held the structure completion celebration, marking a significant project milestone. The event was attended by approximately 375 attendees, including workers and guests. Representatives from ITC and Larco Investments Ltd. delivered speeches, and the event featured the ceremonial pouring of the last concrete, finished with gold trowels to symbolize the achievement and hard work of the entire project team. A fully catered lunch was provided for all in attendance, and as part of ITC tradition, a raffle was held with prizes generously donated from GB Group Recycling Ltd. in support of Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon. A total of $3,690 was raised through raffle sales, and with the ITC match, we were able to raise $7,380 for this wonderful organization! This week, Centra Cares teamed up with GB Group Recycling Ltd., TD, and Country Lumber to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon (RMHBC). We prepared fruit and veggie snack cups with hummus and cooked a full meal for the families. 💕💙   Earlier this year, through our annual Centra Cares Golf Tournament, we donated $90,000 to RMHBC and $20,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities® Alberta . This donation supports nearly a full year of stay for a family in need, providing them with a welcoming place to call home while their child receives critical medical care. Supporting Ronald McDonald House means helping them offer accommodations for families who must travel far from home for treatment, alleviating financial stress and keeping families close during challenging times.   As Employee Owners at Centra Windows, we take pride in giving back to the communities we serve and making a positive impact.
