We are thrilled to announce that more than 80 people have been employed in our "okra project" in Iran! We started raising funds in early February 2024 and the harvest will still go on until the end of October! Greenlend is happy to announce that it has entered the harvest season now in Tehran, Iran. The seeding season which was begun on February is now experiencing harvest! Families are yielding 200-300 kilograms of okra per day and sell that directly to the market. We are proud to be able to finance them during this season and help them be self sufficient. Finally we are in the first day of harvest! Congratulations to all the team and the community that supported our project since February 2024. Greenlend has begun the first project in 2024 in Tehran, Iran. After a successful experience of funding a 5-hectare land in 2023, once again we are working with local farmers to enable them to farm and cultivate their crops in the early summer. The land is 5 hectares, located in Shahre Rey county in the south of Tehran and it creates job for about 40 people as well as making a full time employment during February-September period for them.
