I'm incredibly proud of our team at Blue Water Concepts for making the Canadian Home Builders' Association of BC (CHBA BC) Georgie Awards finalists for a number of projects we completed last year. Our team is up for 6 this year! 🏆 Best Custom Home $1,000,000-$1,500,000 for our Hardy Island project. Main cabin. 🏆x2 Best Custom Home $1,500,000 - $2,000,000 for our Sproat Lake Passive house as well as our Gambier Island Net Zero cabin. 🏆 Best Innovative Feature for our Hardy Island project. 🏆 Best Energy Labelled Home- Custom for our Sproat Lake Passive House. 🏆 Best Custom Home Builder of The Year Being listed as finalists for these is a bit of recognition for the hard work and passion our team has put in over the past few years. We are incredibly lucky to have been able to work with some amazing clients, who trusted us to design and build them some pretty spectacular projects in some pretty challenging locations. Both our Hardy Island and Gambier projects were boat and barge access only, with everyone and everything coming by water. This just adds a whole other level of logistics and complexity to building high performance homes. Which to be honest makes it more fun on our side. I would also like to give credit where credit is due and give our design manager Kayla Hildebrand a huge pat on the back. All of these projects (with the exception of some aspects of our Hardy Island main cabin) were designed in house and led by Kayla. Sproat Lake Passive House, Gambier Island Net Zero Cabin and our Hardy Island family compound were all designed by the very talented Kayla. We are up against some incredible builders and projects and are really looking forward to enjoying some dinner, drinks and networking with the industry in March.
