Hybrid Communicators Toastmasters Club is an energetic group of professionals who meet bi-weekly to develop our public speaking and leadership skills. Join us as a guest on the 2nd or 4th Tuesday of each month at 12:00 pm Mountain Time for our hybrid-style meetings either in-person at 8th Avenue Place in downtown Calgary or via Zoom.

Member Spotlight: Hayley Silberg, P.Eng. P.Geo. Celebrating 8 Years with Toastmasters! Hayley joined Toastmasters in 2016, as one of the founding members of this club. Over the years, she has held most of the roles on the Club Executive Board and has participated in almost every contest. Twice, she made it to the District finals for Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan for the Evaluations contest, finishing in 2nd place in 2019. Most recently, she made it to the District finals for the International Speech contest in 2023 and the Division finals (one level below) for the speech contest in 2024. As a small business owner (CAPTivate Gymnastics), Hayley finds her Toastmasters skills enormously valuable, especially delivering feedback in a motivating manner, interview-setting improvised speaking, addressing large crowds with poise and humour, and communicating succinctly. She loves to do stand-up comedy! Hayley's favourite part of Toastmasters is the community and the friendships that have grown over the last eight years!
