  • From Visa Rejection to $18,000 Saved: How We Secured University Admission We’re excited to share an inspiring success story about helping a client gain admission to a Canadian university! It wasn’t an easy journey, but we overcame the challenges and helped them save significantly on tuition fees. 🔹 May 2023 – A client contacted us for advice on applying to a university in Canada. Background: 28 years old, fluent in English, with a degree in software engineering. 🔹 June 2023 – We signed an agreement to provide support with the application and visa process. The client chose the MBA program at University Canada West (UCW) in Vancouver, planning to start in early 2024. 🔹 November 2023 – Unfortunately, the client’s visa application was rejected. However, we didn’t give up! 🔹 April 29, 2024 – We submitted a second visa application, and the start date for studies was postponed to the fall 2024 semester. 🔹 Late Spring 2024 – UCW announced that students with a STEM background were no longer required to take the Foundation course. We promptly appealed to have this requirement waived for our client, saving them $8,500 CAD (~$6,100 USD)! The Foundation course is mandatory for MBA applicants who lack sufficient academic or professional experience. 🔹 June 10, 2024 – The client received a new acceptance letter without the Foundation course requirement. UCW also awarded them a scholarship worth $9,720 CAD (~$7,000 USD). 🔹 July 31, 2024 – The client received a passport request, marking the final stage of the visa approval process. Thanks to our professional guidance, the client successfully enrolled in the MBA program at University Canada West and began their studies in October 2024. ✅ Savings: $18,220 CAD (~$13,000 USD) ✅ Timeline: 14 months from the initial consultation to visa approval If you dream of studying in Canada or immigrating through education, we’re here to help! • Canada Reduces Immigration Targets Canada announced its new immigration levels plan 2025-2027, revealing that, unlike previous years, the government will be decreasing its targets for new immigrant intake. Instead of the planned 500,000 immigrants annually for 2024-2026, the updated targets are as follows: 🔹 2025 – 395,000 newcomers 🔹 2026 – 380,000 newcomers 🔹 2027 – 365,000 newcomers Here’s how permanent residency issuance will be reduced in 2025 compared to 2024: 🔹 Economic immigration: 232,150 PRs instead of 281,135 🔹 Family reunification: 94,500 PRs instead of 114,000 🔹 Refugee programs: 58,350 PRs instead of 76,115 🔹 Humanitarian programs: 10,000 PRs instead of 13,750 The 2025-2027 plan also emphasizes that priority will be given to candidates with in-demand skills and those already residing in Canada under federal immigration programs. Additionally, for the first time, the plan includes targets for temporary migration, aiming for temporary residents to represent no more than 5% of Canada’s total population. The temporary migration targets for 2025 are as follows: 🔹 Foreign workers: 367,750 individuals 🔹 International students: 305,900 individuals Immigrating to Canada now requires more careful preparation and adaptation to meet the new guidelines. • Recognized Employer Pilot: Easier Work Permits in Canada Since January 2024, Canada has launched the second phase of its new Recognized Employer Pilot (REP). This program is beneficial for job seekers outside Canada. The REP is designed for Canadian employers looking for prospective workers from abroad. They can obtain recognized employer status, granting them the right to a simplified employment process and the ability to hire more people from overseas. To become recognized, an employer must: - Have received at least 3 positive LMIAs (Labour Market Impact Assessment for hiring foreigners) in the past - Hire foreign workers for in-demand positions in Canada Here's how you can benefit from it being a foreign job seeker: Recognized employers are highlighted on Canadian job websites, making them easily identifiable. This status assures you that the employer has previously hired foreign workers, is ready to hire again, respects workers' rights, and has the right to simplified employment. Currently, 88 occupations are eligible for simplified employment under the Recognized Employer Pilot. Sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, construction, trade, hospitality, manufacturing, forestry, and more are included. Visit our website https://en.immigrant.today for more information on how you can move to Canada for work, study, or obtain permanent residency. #workincanada #movetocanada #workabroad #immigrationtocanada #visatocanada

  • Top Choices for Studying in Canada in 2024 As of January 2024, Canada has put some new rules in place for study permits, and there are changes to Spouse Open Work Permits and Post-Graduation Work Permits. Let's simplify it and see what the best options are in this new situation. - Provincial Attestation Letters (PAL): Now, international students applying for a study visa need to get a provincial attestation letter. Each part of Canada has a limit for study permits, and without a PAL, your application will be rejected. But if you are planning to do a Master's or Ph.D., you're exempt from this rule. - Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWP): If you graduated from a private institution or a public-private partnership, you are not eligible for a PGWP anymore. However, if you completed a certificate, diploma, or advanced diploma at a public university or college, you can get a PGWP for 1 to 3 years based on your program length. Good news for Master's and Ph.D. graduates – they can now get a 3-year PGWP, no matter how long their program is. - Spouse Open Work Permits (SOWP): Only spouses of Master's and Ph.D. students can get an SOWP. Programs like certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and bachelor's degrees no longer make spouses eligible. Considering all these changes, in 2024, the best choice for international students seems to be Master's and Ph.D. programs at public universities and colleges. If you are interested in studying in Canada or immigrating through education, we would be happy to assist you.
