Impact House is a dynamic hub in the heart of Brussels dedicated to positive societal impact. It's the meeting point of changemakers, people eager to tackle pressing social and environmental challenges through entrepreneurship. We welcome everyone who dares question the status quo and pursues a durable societal impact. The Impact House is built on the conviction that the biggest societal impact can be created when non-profit and for-profit strengthen each other. The time has come to leave behind the traditional distinction between social and economic. We should evolve to a model where these worlds reach out with the common goal to shape a better future. We believe business should be a force for positive social and environmental innovation. If we work together on all levels and think long term, we can achieve sustainable impact. In the Impact House social entrepreneurs, supporting organizations, impact investors, inclusive corporates and civil society come together. It’s a place where people are inspired, new collaborations grow and innovative solutions are co-created. It’s a small but ambitious co-working, meeting and event space with positive societal impact at its core.

Vijf punten lopen als een rode draad doorheen ons boek 'Duurzaam beleggen, laat je geld renderen voor jezelf en de wereld. (zie link in comments) 1️⃣Duurzaam beleggen is haalbaar Iedereen kan duurzaam sparen en beleggen. Even stilstaan bij je keuze voor een bank of eens in gesprek gaan met je bankier, meer hoeft het soms niet te zijn. Ook met kleine bedragen kun je al iets. Je hebt er dus niet per se veel tijd of geld voor nodig. 2️⃣Duurzaam beleggen is te begrijpen Voor veel mensen lijkt de financiële wereld absurd complex en klinkt het ‘taaltje’ onverstaanbaar. Maar duurzaam beleggen is geen kwantumfysica. Zie het als een eenmalige investering. Zodra je begrijpt hoe duurzaam beleggen werkt, kun je een aanpak kiezen die bij je past. Daarna kun je je voor altijd beter voelen bij je financiële keuzes. 3️⃣Duurzaam beleggen is noodzakelijk De wereld staat voor grote uitdagingen. Daar is gigantisch veel geld voor nodig. De financieringskloof, het tekort aan investeringen, lijkt soms onoverbrugbaar. Maar het is vooral een kwestie van het geld te krijgen waar het nodig is, want financiële middelen zijn er genoeg in de wereld. 4️⃣Duurzaam beleggen is mogelijk Het is goed om kritisch te zijn. Dat is een gezonde houding, zeker wanneer het over beleggen gaat. Dat betekent niet dat duurzaam beleggen altijd greenwashing is. Er zijn voorbeelden zat van bedrijven en organisaties die echt impact maken met het geld van hun investeerders. 5️⃣Duurzaam beleggen is zinvol Duurzaam beleggen is geen druppel op een hete plaat. Het is een fundamentele mindshift die de hele financiële wereld moet maken en aan het maken is. Het is beter dan niets doen en bovendien makkelijker dan andere duurzame levenskeuzes: met duurzaam beleggen kun je misschien wel het grootste verschil maken.
